Lots going on in the background here, so just some links and quick thoughts this morning.
Does anybody else still use Pinterest? We’re in the midst of remodeling two bathrooms, and it’s been super helpful. I’m doing a New Brooklyn sort of bathroom with retro tile, modern accents, and brightly colored walls. Here’s my bathroom Pinterest board.
With too many people in my house all with very complicated schedules, I need to learn how to use a slower cooker to produce a one pot meal that isn’t too fussy. Martha has a good list of her slow cooker recipes. Better yet, I might allocate this job to one of the three dudes in this house.
King Charles couldn’t tour France today, because protestors are lighting garbage on fire in the middle of the highway. Historically, aristocrats don’t fare well when on the streets with French rioters. People are pissed that Macron wants to raise the retirement age for pensions from 62 to 64. I have to say that I’m on Team Macron on this one.
The full cost of attendance to Rutgers, our state college, is now $36,271, which might be a $10,000 increase from six years ago. Huge increase at other state colleges, too.

I don’t really use TikTok, because I would spend too much time watching cleaning videos. Seriously, cleaning videos are OCD crack. Those carpet cleaning videos alone would eat up hours of my time. But I occasionally poke my head in there. There are some interesting education and parenting videos in there.
