Interesting. You presume to speak for black women, and that this election is up to white women who are mothers of white men. Like your demographic is the only one that matters. Insert eye roll here.

Okay, well I’m going to have to insert my own eye roll. I don’t “presume” to talk for black women. I provided a link to Susan Rice, who was annoyed by DEI. And I certainly don’t think that white women are the only demographic that matters. But elections are won by the person who gets the most votes. White suburban women are a significant voting block. I talk with them and share what they tell me.

I am, for the record, a Kamala supporter. I like her more every day. I think she’s going to win big.

I guess my point is that this election will require a collective effort.

Yes, absolutely. That is the only way to win elections in this divided country.

I appreciate that you support Kamala. Thank you for that Susan Rice li jis “one” black woman, she can’t speak for us as a collective. I hope that all women can see what we have to lose or to gain in this election. Black women are also a major determinant factor in most elections.

I’m sorry I was correcting Susan Rice “link” when my phone blipped.

I have been following your writings, and I am confused why you are very anti-progressive. DEI isn't a bad thing; it just makes you sound like talking about non-white people annoy you. Conservatives are using DEI as a slur that's racially charges: of course minorities wouldn't like that.

Hi Caleb - Thanks for responding. I'm not anti-progressive. I'm hearing so much anti-DEI stuff lately, both in the news and locally. I'm just reporting what I'm hearing.

Thanks for responding! That is very fair; I think I am used to reading more negative coverage of it. Apologies for my quick judgment. I am excited for Kamala Harris' 2024 run.
